Vucic receives credentials of five new ambassadors

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received the credentials of the newly-appointed ambassadors of Switzerland, Israel, Sweden, Denmark and Czechia at the Palace of Serbia on Tuesday.

In a discussion with Swiss Ambassador Anne Lugon-Moulin, Vucic said EU membership was a strategic commitment for Serbia and that the Kosovo-Metohija issue was a top national priority.

Cordially welcoming Ambassador Avivit Bar-Ilan of Israel, Vucic wished her success in her diplomatic mission of strengthening the ties between Serbia and Israel and expanding the cooperation between the two countries.

He told Sweden's new Ambassador Charlotte Samelin that her country was one of Serbia's most significant partners in Scandinavia.

Welcoming Ambassador Pernille Dahler Kardel of Denmark, Vucic thanked her for Copenhagen's support for Serbia's EU path.
