Israel: Hezbollah’s first attack on Tel Aviv – The missile targeted Mossad headquarters

The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah announced today that it has fired a ballistic missile at the general headquarters of Mossad, Israel’s foreign security agency, near Tel Aviv.

“The Islamic Resistance fired a Qader 1 ballistic missile at 06:30 (local and Greek time) on Wednesday (…) targeting the Mossad general headquarters in a Tel Aviv suburb,” Hezbollah said.

Warning sirens sounded in Tel Aviv today as Israel’s anti-aircraft defense system intercepted a surface-to-surface missile detected entering Israeli airspace coming from Lebanon, the Israeli military said.

Warning sirens sounded in other areas of central Israel, including the city of Netanya.
