EU Issues Advisory for Airlines to Avoid Iranian Airspace Amid Rising Tensions

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) today recommended that airlines avoid Iranian airspace due to the “heightened risk” in the region following the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel and the Israeli government’s warning that it would respond.

This “war zones briefing note” is valid until 31 October. Another warning was issued for the same period on Saturday concerning the airspace of Israel and Lebanon.
