Middle East: Airplane pilot recorded the moment of Iran’s missile attack on Israel (video)
The launch of a barrage of Iranian missiles shows video taken Tuesday night from the pilot of a British Airways flight bound for Dubai.
The video, taken by the pilot of the flight, shows Iranian missiles in close proximity rising in the night sky en route to Israel.
Crazy documentation!
The Iranians didn't even notify the civil aviation authorities before the shooting. This footage was taken by a passenger on a civilian airliner passing close to the launch point.#Iran #Israel #MiddleEast #MissileAttack #explosion #war pic.twitter.com/cW4MjwDSWT— Genesis Watchman Report (@ReportWatchman) October 2, 2024
The close proximity from which the footage was taken raises issues about Iran‘s concern to ensure that airways were clear of international civilian aircraft flights before taking its actions.
Iran fired 200 missiles at Israel in retaliation for Israeli assassinations of militant leaders and aggression in Lebanon against Hezbollah and Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “Iran made a big mistake – and will pay for it”, while Tehran said any retaliation would be met with “enormous destruction”, raising fears of a wider war.
