Third suspect detained over Athens flat explosion
A third suspect arrested earlier this week in connection with a recent explosion of an improvised device in an Athens apartment has been detained following her statement to authorities.
The suspect, a 30-year-old woman, was arrested at Athens International Airport on Monday upon her return from Switzerland for the ongoing case.
Her statement to authorities lasted around 40 minutes, during which she reportedly denied any involvement in the incident, asserting that her connection was limited to a friendly relationship with the apartment's owner.
On Tuesday, her 31-year-old partner, who also denied any involvement in the case, was imprisoned.
