Santorini sees turnover of €376 mln in accommodation and catering in Q3

Santorini has topped the list of Cycladic islands in terms of revenue from accommodation and catering, bringing in a total of almost 376 million euros in the busiest tourist months of July, August and September, a study has found.

The MTC Group report, however, which is based on Hellenic Statistical Authority data, noted that Santorini's revenue was down 9% on the same quarter last year.

Of Santorini's revenue, €267.5 million came from accommodation and €108.1 million in catering.

In second place was Mykonos, which saw accommodation and catering revenue of just over €309 million in the same period.

Paros followed with almost €117 million, Naxos with €89 million and Milos with €60 million, far ahead of Syros (€28.6 million) and Tinos (€24 million). Bottom of the list were Andros and Kea/Kythnos, with €14 million each.
