Greek educator wins Europe’s top teaching award
Greek teacher Giota Chatzopoulou has won Europe's premier teaching award from Junior Achievement (JA) Europe for her exceptional dedication and innovative methods in fostering entrepreneurial skills.
Recognized alongside educators from Lithuania and Austria at a Brussels ceremony, Chatzopoulou has been a driving force at the American Farm School of Thessaloniki since 2010, where she coordinates entrepreneurship clubs and teaches mathematics.
Her leadership in implementing JA programs has led her students to achieve multiple national and European awards. Known for her dynamic teaching techniques, she integrates case studies, role-playing and technology to nurture personalized growth in her students.
