Giannis Antetokounmpo and family invest in Athens real estate to transform Village shopping center

The family of Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is investing in prime real estate in Athens, following the announcement that they, in partnership with Premia Properties - a real estate investment and management company - have acquired the popular Village Shopping & More center in Rentis, near Piraeus, for €14.1 million.

Renovations to the shopping center will begin immediately, with the goal of transforming it into a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment hub, according to a press release.

The property, which spans 49,000 square meters of built area on a 36,000-square-meter plot, currently operates as an entertainment park with the Village Cinema as its anchor tenant.
