Which cosmetics categories have fared best this year

Greek consumers bought makeup, face creams and body care products this year, a trend that is expected to continue during the holiday season, when people flock to stores for their Christmas shopping.

According to estimates by the Hellenic Cosmetic, Toiletry & Perfumery Association (PSVAK), makeup products, a category that was particularly affected during the pandemic, are looking this year at a double-digit sales increase of 11.1% compared to 2023.

Body and facial care products are expected to record an increase of 6.1% and 6.7%, respectively, by the end of the year.
