Siblings charged with patricide
Two siblings accused of murdering their 66-year-old father in Evia last week were remanded in custody on Saturday following their testimonies. A third suspect, the victim's 29-year-old son-in-law, was granted time until Monday to prepare his defense.
The 22-year-old son claimed abuse by the victim, corroborated by his mother, who left the household due to the father's behavior but denied knowing about the alleged mistreatment.
Meanwhile, a rescue operation saved a dog left alone at the crime scene. Rambo, a Rottweiler belonging to the jailed son-in-law, survived three days without care. Municipal workers captured the distraught animal and relocated it to a secure location.
