Major traffic delays on Kifissou Ave after truck downs lighting pole

Major traffic delays have been reported on Kifissou Avenue near Peristeri, in Athens, after a southbound truck hit and knocked down a lighting pole on the median strip on the thoroughfare.

As a result, the two left lanes towards Piraeus and the left lane towards Lamia have been closed.

Long-distance coach company KTEL announced that all services to Lamia and beyond have been suspended.
