Deputy minister Gikas to attend epiphany in Tarpon Springs, Florida

Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Stefanos Gikas will participate in the annual Epiphany celebrations held in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Responding to an invitation from the Greek-American community, he will attend the festivities, presided over by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, annually drawing thousands of Greek-Americans from across the country.

The deputy minister will also speak at a special event organized by AHEPA and meet with representatives of Greek-American organizations from the region. Additionally, he will hold discussions with the mayor and city council members of Tarpon Springs, Greek-American political figures and Archbishop Elpidophoros.

During his visit, deputy minister Gikas will meet with the CEO of the Tampa Bay Port and the Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard base in St. Petersburg. He will also give interviews to Greek-American...
