Applications for the new housing energy saving program, with a budget of 434 million euros, can be submitted as of Monday.

The program provides for primary energy savings of over 30% through an upgrade in at least three energy categories in primary residences.

The program covers the replacement of windows, the installation/upgrading of thermal insulation, the upgrading of heating/cooling systems, the installation of hot water systems based on renewable energy sources, and other energy saving interventions, such as the installation of a smart management system and energy storage systems (batteries).

Energy-vulnerable population groups are a particular target of the program.

Applications can be made via exoikonomo2025.gov.gr.

Interested parties can call 213.151-3753 (9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays) for more information.
