Pro-Turkish and Kurdish forces clash in Syria, leaving 37 dead

Fierce clashes between pro-Turkish and Kurdish forces are taking place in Syria on Thursday, resulting in at least 37 deaths, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Among the dead are five civilians, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The observatory reported intense battles on the outskirts of Manbij in recent hours between the Syrian Democratic Forces and units of the Syrian National Army, supported by Turkish air forces.
