Knives and phones seized in police raid at Korydallos prison

Knives and mobile phones were found during an operation conducted by the Narcotics Division on Wednesday morning at Korydallos prison.

Searches were carried out in eight cells, where four mobile phones, chargers, charging cables and hands-free devices were seized. Additionally, 19 inmates were inspected and two improvised knives were found in their possession.

Charges for violating weapons laws were filed against the individuals involved and the case will be submitted to the appropriate prosecutor's office.
