Greece, Shanghai discuss boosting tourism ties at working dinner

The further development of cooperation in tourism between Greece and the region of Shanghai was the topic of a working dinner attended by Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) General Secretary Andreas Fiorentinos and a Chinese delegation.

The dinner was held on Thursday at a downtown Athens hotel, in honor of visiting Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng.

During the meeting, Fiorentinos presented the prospects opening up between the two sides, especially after the establishment of direct Shanghai-Athens flights by Juneyao Air, which has brought more than 50,000 Chinese citizens to the Greek capital.
