General consolidated budget revenues and expenses go up 1.32 billion lei, in thrid revision of 2014
The revenues and expenses of the general consolidated budget go up some 1.32 billion lei in the balance and the general consolidated budget deficit will be kept as nominal value at 14.713 billion and as share in the gross domestic product (GDP), at 2.2 per cent, according to the emergency ordinance draft setting the legal framework for the third budget revision for 2014.
October Budget Deficit Increases By BGN 300 M
Bulgaria's budget deficit as of October reached BGN 1.76 B, said the Finance Ministry.
For comparison, in September it was BGN 1.47 B.
The Finance Ministry data shows that the vast part of the deficit is formed by a shortage in EU funds - a total of BGN 1.066 B.
The budget revenue was BGN 24.021 B, the expenditure was BGN 25.78 B. The fiscal reserve was BGN 8.7 B.
Code Yellow Warning For Snow, Ice Issued In Northern Bulgaria
A code yellow warning for snow and ice in northern Bulgaria on Sunday has been issued.
According to the weather forecast of the National Meteorology Institute, the snow cover will reach 10 cm. The warning is valid for the regions of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad, Silistra, Shumen, Varna and Dobrich.
Germany not conditioning, has different approach
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister without portfolio in charge of European integration Jadranka Joksimovic stated on Saturday that Germany is not conditioning Serbia and that is just has a different approach to the Serbia-EU talks, and expressed the hope that a good solution would soon be found and that the first chapter in the talks would open soon.
French ambassador:We want one chapter to open by end of year
BELGRADE - French Ambassador in Belgrade Christine Moro said that her country truly wishes one chapter in Serbia's EU accession talks to open by the end of the year.
In an interview for the Belgrade-based daily Danas, Moro said that the true topic lies in the reforms that need to be implemented so as to ensure successful EU accession.
