Documentary on old tunnel to be filmed
Investigations on a Roman-era tunnel, which was discovered in the garden of a house in the Aegean province of ?zmir's Kadifekale district, have been completed. The tunnel, which is thought to have been built as a water conveyance system, will be the subject of a documentary film. Promotional booklets will also be made for the tunnel.
Energy Minister meets Austrian Ambassador for UK nuclear power plant construction
Environment and Energy Minister Panos Skourletis met with Austrian Ambassador in Athens Andrea Ikić-Böhm on Monday and expressed the Greek government’s opposition for the construction of a new nuclear power plant in the United Kingdom while mentioning that Greece is in favour of restricting and eliminating the use of nuclear power.
Bulgaria's Plovdiv Hosts Jazz Festival on November 2-6
The second largest city in Bulgaria - Plovdiv, which has been designated as one of the 2019 European Capitals of Culture, will host a jazz festival between November 2 and 6.
Grammy winner Kurt Elling will open this year's edition of the Jazz Festival with some of his most famous songs for which he has been nominated ten times for the musical awards.
