No Public Transport on New Year's Eve in Sofia

There will be no overtime vehicles on the lines of public transport in Sofia on New Year's Eve, as in the previous years.

The Center for Urban Mobility of Sofia Municipality announces that on December 31st the city transport in Sofia will run with the usual schedule, and there will be no night lines.

Covid-19: France Mobilises 100,000 police to Stop Gatherings on New Year's Eve

France is to mobilise 100,000 police and gendarmes on New Year's Eve to break up parties and enforce a curfew imposed to combat coronavirus.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias held a phone call with his new Albanian counterpart, Olta Xhacka, on Thursday.

During their talk, the two officials noted the willingness "to strengthen [bilateral] relations and enhance cooperation to address common challenges," Dendias said in a post on Twitter.
