After two years without the guidance of an artistic director, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (OMMTH) has been appointed a new chief who will be responsible for revamping its cultural identity and designing its program over the next three years.

WhatsApp Reports Record-Breaking Number of Calls on New Year’s Eve

WhatsApp users all over the world have made over 1.4 bln voice and video calls on New Year's Eve, breaking the record for most calls in one day, Facebook, the owner of the messenger, informed in its press release on Friday, TASS reports.

More hospitals join vaccination program

Staff at an additional 40 hospitals will be admitted into Greece's coronavirus vaccination drive starting Monday and another 36 will join on January 11, according to Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias.

The ministry's aim, he said in a briefing last week, is to have more than 60,000 health workers immunized against Covid-19 by January 20.
