Voting in Serbian local elections concludes at 8 pm

BELGRADE - Voting in Sunday's local elections in Serbia concluded at 8 pm.

Voters who were at the polling stations at the time of their closure were allowed to cast their ballots.

The elections were held in Belgrade and 14 other cities, 51 municipalities and 23 urban municipalities.

Lawyers to act as judges in some civil cases

Starting in September, some civil cases will be taken out of judges' hands and be decided by lawyers, as part of an attempt to relieve court congestion and decide cases faster.
