Phone addiction pandemic
The psychosocial impacts of mobile phone addiction, beginning as early as adolescence, if not childhood, are already being seen by some in the scientific community as a pandemic-level threat. While challenging, implementing additional measures in schools is a positive step. Officials can also consider other ways to raise awareness and promote education on this issue.

Thailand: Workers found dead after being trapped for days in tunnel
Three workers who were trapped inside a collapsed railway tunnel have been found dead, despite rescue efforts that lasted over five days, Thai authorities announced.
According to the BBC, the men, two from China and one from Myanmar, were believed to be still alive until Thursday, August 29.
