Microsoft is cutting about 650 more positions from its gaming unit as it continues to tighten its belt following the blockbuster buyout of "Call of Duty" maker Activision Blizzard.

Israel intelligence unit chief quits over October 7 failure

The Israeli army said on Thursday that the head of an elite intelligence unit will resign over the failure to prevent Hamas's Oct. 7 attack.

"The commander of the 8200 unit, (Brigadier General) Yossi Sariel, has informed his commanders and subordinates of his intention to end his position," the army said in a statement.

"The officer will conclude his role in the near future."

Missing 78-year-old Greek man found safe in Istanbul after week-long search

A 78-year-old Greek man from Kozani, northern Greece, who had been missing in Istanbul for nearly a week, has been found safe.

The man, part of a tourist group of pensioners from his hometown, disappeared on September 7 while the group was touring Taksim Square.

Fiat 500 electric production pauses for one month

Carmaker Stellantis has said it would halt production of the electric version of its emblematic Fiat 500 in Italy due to weak demand, a move that comes as EV sales have slowed in Europe.

Turkish intelligence ‘neutralizes’ senior PKK terrorist in northern Iraq

Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) "neutralized" a senior PKK/KCK terrorist in northern Iraq, security sources said on Friday.

Azad Akıncı, codenamed Adil Mardin, who responsible for the terror group's activities in the Makhmur camp, was "neutralized" in an operation conducted in Makhmur, northern Iraq.

The terrorist was sought by the MIT with a red notice.

Van Gogh 'Sunflowers' brought together in London show

A hundred years after acquiring one of Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers," Britain's National Gallery in London will bring his vision to life by showcasing three works side-by-side for the first time.

The triptych, which features two from of his sunflower series, forms part of a major exhibition dedicated to the Dutch painter and titled "Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers."
