Air Serbia carries three million passengers since beginning of 2024

BELGRADE - On Saturday, August 31, Air Serbia reached the three million passenger milestone in 2024, two weeks earlier than in the previous, record-breaking year, the flagship carrier has announced.

"During the first eight months of 2024, the Serbian national airline has operated more than 31 thousand scheduled and charter flights," it said in a statement.

The number of foreign tourists visiting Istanbul reached almost 10.5 million in the first seven months this year, marking a 7 percent increase from the same period last year.

The figure stood at 9.7 million in the first seven months of last year, while this year it increased by 690,678 million and reached 10.4, data from the provincial directorate of culture and tourism said.

Serb employees of K Mitrovica local authority denied entry to municipal building

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The so-called Kosovo Police, which raided and illegally closed the building of the Kosovska Mitrovica provisional municipal authority on Friday, denied entry to the building on Monday to Serb employees who attempted to go to their workplaces.

The employees gathered outside the building and police SUVs are deployed in the area, a Tanjug correspondent reports.
