The Bosnian state court on Friday rejected the indictment charging Adem Kostjerevac with wartime rape because he was not questioned in accordance with the law during the investigation.

In closing arguments at the Bosnian state court on Tuesday, ex-soldier Adem Kostjerevac's defence said that the charges should be dismissed due to procedural errors or the defendant should be acquitted due to a lack of evidence.

Former Bosnian Army soldier Elfeta Veseli asked the appeals chamber of the state court in Sarajevo on Monday to quash the sentence convicting her of killing a Serb boy and hold a retrial.

Veseli said she hoped the appeals chamber would "correct the fatal mistake" of the first-instance verdict handed down in May this year.

The Bosnian state court in Sarajevo on Wednesday found Elfeta Veseli guilty of killing a 12-year-old boy, Slobodan Stojanovic, on an undetermined date in the second half of July or first half of August 1992 in the village of Bajrici-Novo Selo.
