Drecun: Timing of Pristina's indictment shows Kurti will use it for political campaigning

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on defence and interior affairs Milovan Drecun said on Thursday the timing of Pristina's indictment against 45 people in connection with the September 24, 2023 armed clashes in Banjska, Kosovo-Metohija, showed that Pristina's PM Albin Kurti intended to use it for pre-election political campaigning.

NATO session scheduled; Western Balkans on the agenda

The focus of the meeting will be the Russian war against Ukraine and the war between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, said before the meeting that the heads of diplomacy of the member countries will discuss the possibility of a permanent increase in the number of members of the KFOR mission in Kosovo.

At the UN Security Council session on KiM, Serbia will be represented by Ana Brnabić

It is expected that the Special Representative and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, will present a report covering the period from March 19 to September 18 this year.
Serbia will be represented at the session by Prime Minister Ana Brnabi, while President of the Provisional Institutions Vjosa Osmani will speak on behalf of Pristina.

Banjska road reopened to traffic

BANJSKA - After four days, the road in Banjska, a village in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, was reopened to traffic on Wednesday and Pristina's special police allowed entry to the village, a Tanjug reporter on the ground said.

The so-called Kosovo Police said last night it had completed an operation of checking the area.

Banjska still under blockade

In the village of Banjska, which is still under blockade, three more Serbs were arrested, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced.
Jarinje and Brnjak are still blocked for passage from central Serbia, and you can only exit from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.
