Moldova President Watches Moscow Parade with Putin

Moldova's President Dodon attended Russia's annual showpiece Victory Day parade on Tuesday, standing directly next to Vladimir Putin as Russia marked 72 years since the victory of the Soviet Army over Nazi Germany.

Dodon was the only head of state from the former Soviet republics to attend the event.

Financial Support For Participants in Chernobyl Cleanup

The participants in the alleviation of consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident and families of the dead participants will get lump sums of 1,000 lei in financial assistance. Moldova President: Eurasian Union Ties Not Incompatible with EU Commitments

An agreement between Moldova and the Eurasian Economic Union will not be in any contradiction with the country's EU commitments, President Igor Dodon has told Sputnik Moldova.

Dodon, who was elected in November, has made no secret of his desire to dissolve Parliament and call a snap election over the course of the year.
