In the last 24 hours 55 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bulgaria. This is the new data published in the Unified Information Portal.

Thus, the percentage of positive samples decreases - from 0.48% to 0.43%. Most cases were found in Sofia-city - 19. In 16 districts there is not a single new registered case.

"One of the parameters we monitor shows when the spread of the infection goes from cluster to diffuse. The critical areas are Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. In all these areas, the situation is not good and the situation is getting worse. " This was stated on NOVA by the mathematician and member of the National Operational Staff Prof. Nikolay Vitanov.

Dangerously high pollution was registered this morning in Vidin, Ruse and Plovdiv, according to a NOVA report on the European Commission's Air Quality Index portal.

Bulgaria's economy ministry said on Thursday that the ministry's secretary-general met with representatives of German car parts maker VOSS Automotive to discuss the company's plans to set up a new production facility in Eastern Europe and the options to build the plant in Bulgaria, reports SeeNews. 

 A Code Yellow warning for high temperatures has been issued for almost the entire country, for Blagoevgrad region the warning is Code Orange, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) said on its website.
In Blagoevgrad, temperatures are expected to reach and exceed 38C in the afternoon in most of the region.
