China to Co-Own Croatian Seaport, Interested in Another
China will become co-owner of Croatia's Zadar seaport and is interested in Rijeka too as a way to bring its goods to Europe, a Croatian official said on Thursday.

A young man has been killed by a tiger in front of his horrified wife and child after getting dragged into its zoo enclosure.
The incident occurred at the Youngor Wildlife Park in the city of Ningbo, about 200 kilometres (125 miles) south of Shanghai.

Historic Chinese church gutted by fire: Xinhua
A fire largely destroyed one of China's oldest churches early Monday, state media reported, gutting the inside of the late 19th century structure.
"The inside of the building is totally destroyed," a firefighter told the official Xinhua news agency after the blaze at the gothic-style Jiangbei Cathedral in Ningbo, in Zhejiang province.

Romanian-Chinese trade exchanges reach 1.6 billion dollars in first 5 months of 2014
The total volume of trade exchanges between Romania and China hit 1.6 billion dollars in the first five months of the year, up 26.6 per cent from the similar period of 2013, according to a release of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Municipality of Bucharest (CCIB) remitted to Agerpres on Wednesday.
