Huawei Greece, in collaboration with the volunteer organization Humanity Greece, offered on Thursday food and essential products to the Social Grocery of the Municipality of Penteli, to support the citizens and the municipality after the devastating fires of last August.

Mitsotakis Inspects Burned Areas in Penteli and begins Meeting at City Hall
At the gym, he was welcomed by Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras, Penteli Mayor Natassa Kosmopoulou, and the school’s director. A representative from GEK Terna, responsible for the restoration, presented the reconstruction plan, expected to be completed in six months. Other school facilities in the area will be repaired by the start of the school year.
PM to unveil fire-restoration plan in Penteli
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be visiting the Greek capital's fire-struck municipality of Penteli on Tuesday, where he is expected to chair a meeting with local and other officials and unveil the government's plan for managing and restoring those areas east and north of Athens that were devastated by an out-of-control blaze last week.

Compensation platform expected to open next week
The platform where people who incurred damages from this week's Attica wildfire can apply for compensation will open on August 21, according to Deputy Civil Protection Minister Christos Triandopoulos. Inspections in the affected municipalities are ongoing, with 130 having been conducted by Thursday.
