Two Bulgarians Sentenced to Probation for Vote-Buying ahead of Early Elections
Two people have been convicted of vote buying in summary proceedings, according to reports of Bulgaria's prosecuting authority and Interior Ministry.
A 45-year-old man from the northern town of Knezha was sentenced to 6 months of probation under Article 167, paragraph 2 of the Penal Code for inducing voters to cast ballots for a certain political party.
Power Distributor CEZ Wants Increased Share in Final Prices
Electricity distribution company CEZ has proposed that its share in the consumer price of electricity be raised to a level which would allow it to maintain the energy grid.

Code yellow warning for possible thunder and hailstorms and torrential rains is issued for six regions on Wednesday, said Bulgaria's Environment Ministry.
The warning is valid for the regions of Vratsa, Montana, Vidin, Lovech, Pleven and Sofia – region.
