Two Bulgarians Sentenced to Probation for Vote-Buying ahead of Early Elections

Two people have been convicted of vote buying in summary proceedings, according to reports of Bulgaria's prosecuting authority and Interior Ministry.

A 45-year-old man from the northern town of Knezha was sentenced to 6 months of probation under Article 167, paragraph 2 of the Penal Code for inducing voters to cast ballots for a certain political party.

PLEVEN - The Serbian team at the 31st Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Pleven, Bulgaria, has won three gold and two bronze medals.

Zarko Randjelovic from the Svetozar Markovic Grammar School in Nis and Ivan Tanasijevic and Dusan Drobnjak from the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade scored maximum points, winning gold medals.
