ThyssenKrupp Considers Expanding Its Business in Bulgaria
The German steel giant ThyssenKrupp is considering to expand its business in Bulgaria and is interested in the conditions offered by the National Company Industrial Zones.
This was discussed at a meeting between Bulgarian Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski and representatives of the executive board of the company in Germany on Friday.
Athens voted second Best European Destination for 2016
Athens was chosen as the second Best European Destination for 2016 competing 19 selected destinations for the prestigious title of Best European Destination 2016.
Voting ended on February 10 and after more than 288,000 votes, Zadar in Croatia was elected Best European Destination 2016.
Farmers' Markets Selling Organic Products to Open in Five Bulgarian Cities
Specialised farmers' markets selling organic products will be opened in five Bulgarian cities - Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
Only certified producers will be able sell their produce at these markets, private bTV station informs.
In order to be eligible to sell at the markets, producers will have to possess certificates for each of the exhibited products.
Bulgaria Police Detain Jordan, Syria Nationals in Amphetamine Bust
Bulgarian police have seized 108 kg of amphetamine and arrested nine people, including two Jordanians and a Syrian national, suspected of involvement in illicit drugs trade.
The other six of the detained are Bulgarian citizens, some of them have criminal records, according to a statement released by the Ministry of the Interior on Friday.

The prices of tickets for public transport in some of the largest Bulgarian cities are likely to increase in the spring.
At present municipalities are doing final calculations whether to increase the public transport fares.
Four Bulgarian Cities to Host Matches from 2018 Volleyball World Championship
Four Bulgarian cities will host matches from the 2018 men's volleyball World Championship, which will be co-hosted by Bulgaria and Italy.
Twelve teams will play their matches in Bulgaria, with the host cities being Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Ruse.
Bulgaria and Italy were selected as co-hosts by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) last week.

Pall-Ex Group Enters Partnership Deal with Bulgaria's Econt
UK-headquartered palletised freight distribution network Pall-Ex Group has expanded operations in Europe by signing a partnership deal with Econt, one of Bulgaria's largest providers of transport and logistics solutions.
Pall-Ex will start operations in Bulgaria by the middle of next year, the company said in a statement. Econt operates over 40% of the parcel market in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria's Plovdiv Hosts Documentary, Animation Film Festival
The second largest city of Bulgaria will host the 22nd edition of the Golden Rhyton documentary and animation film festival between November 30 and December 5.
The festival, which is organised by the Bulgarian National Film Centre, is dedicated to the promotion of Bulgarian documentary and animated movie-making and is one of the largest film events held in the country.
Second Edition of Morocco Days in Bulgaria Begins in Sofia on November 30
The second edition of the "Morocco Days in Bulgaria" begins on November 30 and will last for two weeks until December 13.
The event is organised by the Embassy of Morocco in Bulgaria and will take place in Sofia and Plovdiv.
The opening will be given with the concert "Soul of Morocco" by the famous singer and songwriter Oum in Sofia on November 30.
