Tense end to Vucic's visit as Albanians put up barricades
The second day of Vucic's visit to Kosovo was marked by incidents and the roadblocks put up by ethnic Albanians on the way to the Serb village of Banje.
The president then decided to return to Kosovska Mitrovica, as police informed him that the blockades were two kilometers ahead of the convoy, and that it was not safe to continue the trip.

"We want to open the border between Albania and Kosovo. The prime minister told me that a decision has been made. Starting on January 1, free movement between Albania and Kosovo began," Majko said.
He stated this on the occasion of the Diaspora Day held in the town of Srbica, in Kosovo.
Kosovo town mayor, convicted of war crimes, in custody again
Srbica Mayor Sami Lushtaku, who has been convicted of war crimes committed against civilians in Kosovo, has been arrested after leaving a hospital.
Lushtaku is a former member of the now disbanded ethnic Albanian KLA and its "Drenica Group" and was in the hospital temporarily for treatment. He was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Victims' families notified about identification results
PRISTINA - Representatives of the Department for Forensic Medicine informed the families of 28 victims whose remains were discovered in the mass grave in Rudnica near Raska about the identification results and presented them with relevant documents.
Members of Drenica Group released pending trial
PRISTINA - Members of the Drenica Group who are charged with war crimes committed against civilians in the prison camp of former (ethnic Albanian paramilitary unit) Kosovo Liberation Army in 1998 have been released pending trial, Pristina media reported.

Arrest warrant requested for Drenica Group fugitives
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - EULEX Special Prosecutor Jonathan Ratel requested from a judge of the Basic Court in Kosovska Mitrovica on Thursday to issue an arrest warrant for the three fugitive defendants who had been members of the Drenica Group, a part of the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
