British Police See 'Strong' Links Between Attacks at Tunisia's Bardo Museum and Sousse Beach
'Strong' evidence suggests the Bardo Museum attack in Tunisia's capital in March is linked to the beach shooting in the country's resort of Sousse in June, according to British police, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
"Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism officers say they are now connecting the two attacks based on evidence," the BBC revealed.
UK extends Iraqi air campaign against ISIL until March 2017
Britain will extend its air campaign in Iraq against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants by a year, Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said on August 4, saying it would use ageing Tornado fighter jets to conduct strikes until at least early 2017.
PKK Bombs Railway in Turkey's Kars, Police Kills Three Kurdish Rebels in Agri
Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) rebels have bombed a railway line in Turkey's eastern province of Kars and then fired at repair workers, killing one, the BBC reported.
The attack, which took place on Thursday, is the latest in the surge in violence after a fragile two-year ceasefire between PKK and the Turkish government broke last week.
Germany to Curb Mass Migration from Albania
The two countries have stepped up joint efforts this week to stop Albanian migrants heading for Germany after more than 20,000 arrived over the past few months.
On Wednesday, about 70 asylum-seekers from Albania landed at Tirana International Airport after being deported from Germany.

Discussions on a third bailout package have started in Athens between Greek authorities and representatives of Greece's international creditors, the European Commission announced on Monday.
A Greek government spokeswoman, however, said that high-level talks would not begin until later this week, according to the BBC.

The talks on a new EUR 86 B between Greece and top officials from the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the European Stability Mechanism were expected to start in Athens on Friday.
