The management of Diamond S Shipping celebrated the compamy's listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by ringing the opening bell at the start of trading on 5 April, 2019.

On March 28 the stock of the new corporation, Diamond S. Shipping Inc, successfully entered the New York Stock Exchange. Its stock started trading at USD 11.00.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan encouraged approximately 40 international investors he met during his visit to the U.S. on May 15 and 16 to intensify investments in Turkey, a written statement from the meeting's coordinator, the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), said on May 17.      

Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek has sought to ease concerns over Turkey's democratic rule in the post-referendum era, claiming that the country "is not turning into an authoritarian regime" in a meeting with senior representatives from leading Western companies in Washington, D.C.

The U.S.-based food giant Cargill announced on May 27 that one of its units has agreed on terms to acquire a 51 percent stake in Ekol G?da, which operates in the premixes and animal feed additives market in Turkey.

The deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close in summer 2015, the company said in a press release.
