Ljubljana – Defence analyst Iztok Prezelj has assessed that the war in Ukraine is gradually turning into a war of attrition in which the side with more technical resources at its disposal will be more successful. He noted that the war could take several more years despite the sanctions, so conditions for coexistence with Russia should be created.

Britain says Islamist militants may launch further attacks on tourist resorts in Tunisia after a gunman killed 39 people, including at least 15 Britons, in the worst assault of its kind in modern Tunisian history. 

Nigeria's military on March 27 announced that troops had retaken the town of Gwoza from Boko Haram, from which the group declared their caliphate last year.
