One of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's top advisers has asked to be fired after a statement that sparked widespread outrage, Ukrainian media reported this morning.

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to talk to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax news agency on Tuesday.

"You all heard what the president said at the meeting of the Coordination Council. There were indeed problems with the equipment," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today.
According to him, some of the problems still exist, but they are being solved.
"Measures are being taken to eliminate these problems," Peskov said.

The Kremlin said on Oct. 24 that France and Germany were showing "no desire" to participate in mediation on the Ukrainian conflict and praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's offer to organize talks.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as reported by Russian media.
As a reminder, Putin said last week at the Summit in Astana that the mobilization process is expected to be stopped in the next two weeks.
"222.000 of the 300.000 have been mobilized, the process will be completed within two weeks," the Russian president said at the time.

A five-story residential building was hit in the shelling of Mykolaiv by Russian forces, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich announced.
According to him, the upper two floors of the building were completely destroyed, reports Ukrinform. Rescuers are on the ground.

Zelensky's address on Telegram Grossi repeated the request for the demilitarization of Zaporizhzhia

The Kremlin on Sept. 19 said that reports mass graves were found in the formerly Russian-controlled city of Izyum in eastern Ukraine were fabrications.

"These are lies," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding Moscow "will stand up for the truth in this story".

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sept. 16 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Erdoğan departed for Uzbekistan on Sept. 15 to attend the eight-nation security group with Türkiye's status of "dialogue partner."

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Polish authorities were taking a "furious attitude on the verge of madness" towards Russia, while Russian senator Alexei Pushkov told Polish officials to learn the lessons of history before they start preparing for war with Russia.
"Poland is preparing for war with Russia? History does not teach the Polish elite anything," Puskov said.

In Ukraine, conflicts continue along the entire front line in the east and south of the country.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal called on the EU to supply his country with more weapons and equipment.
