Russia accuses US of masterminding Kremlin drone attack

Moscow on Thursday accused the US of masterminding a drone attack on the Kremlin, a charge denied by Washington, and said Ukrainian sabotage on Russian territory had reached "unprecedented momentum".

Moscow said President Vladimir Putin was working from the Kremlin the day after the attack, which it said was a Ukrainian attempt to kill him.

Oil rose sharply in Price

Global oil prices rose after several leading producers, led by Saudi Arabia, surprisingly announced production cuts, AFP reported.

Crude futures rose nearly eight percent, a day after several OPEC+ members unexpectedly announced production cuts totaling more than one million barrels per day.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has approved the sending of "Leopard 2" tanks to Ukraine, adding that he will allow other countries to do the same, "Spiegel" reported.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg pointed out that the members of the Alliance should not only send defensive weapons but also those that will enable Kyiv to regain lost territories.
