Turkey expects to take delivery of the first two of a batch of 24 more Lockheed Martin F-35 aircraft in 2018, Defense Minister Fikri Isik said on Thursday.
Isik said Turkey would buy a total of 24 F-35s over the next three years, of which six, including the two expected in 2018, had already been ordered.

MÜSİAD EXPO opens in Istanbul with key focus on Africa
The 16th MÜSİAD EXPO opened on Nov. 9 in Istanbul, where thousands of businesspeople and investors from all over the world will explore new cooperation and partnership opportunities.
The expo will host in eight halls, 700 companies and 200,000 visitors from over 100 countries, according to the Independent Industrial and Business Association (MÜSİAD).

Ankara to buy more fighter jets, causing unease in Athens
Ankara is to order a further 24 Lockheed Martin F-35 aircraft, Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik said in an interview with broadcaster A Haber on Tuesday.
Turkey is expected to receive the stealth fighters in 2018.
According to sources, Ankara plans to acquire 116 F-35s to replace its fleet of F-16 jets.
