OTE taps markets securing record low interest rate
OTE telecom announced on Wednesday the conclusion on Tuesday of the bookbuilding process for the issuance of a 500 million-euro seven-year bond in international debt capital markets.
The issuance was strongly oversubscribed allowing tight pricing. The coupon was set at 0.875 percent, the lowest ever achieved, OTE stated.

OTE launches voluntary exit scheme
The OTE Group on Thursday announced a new annual voluntary exit program. In a bid to reduce staff numbers, the program will be targeted toward about 1,400 employees of OTE, Cosmote and Germanos in Greece.

OTE sells Albanian firm for 50 mln euros
Deutsche Telekom-owned OTE on Wednesday announced the sale of its entire stake in Albanian subsidiary Telekom Albania to Bulgarian company Albania Telekom Invest AD for the amount of 50 million euros.

OTE makes progress upgrading infrastructure

Cosmote offering 51 scholarships for first-year students
Leading telecommunications provider Cosmote on Tuesday announced it is offering 51 scholarships, totaling 770,000 euros, to first-year students in Greece from financially and socially disadvantaged backgrounds for the academic year 2016-17.
Applications can be made at www.cosmote-scholarships.gr until October 17.
Free broadband at top archaeological sites and museums in Greece
