Cosmote offering 51 scholarships for first-year students

Leading telecommunications provider Cosmote on Tuesday announced it is offering 51 scholarships, totaling 770,000 euros, to first-year students in Greece from financially and socially disadvantaged backgrounds for the academic year 2016-17.

Applications can be made at www.cosmote-scholarships.gr until October 17.

The basic requirement for candidates to take part in the Cosmote Scholarship Program is to have been admitted to one of the Greek higher education institutions through the national exams, having scored a minimum of 16,000 points.

The 2016-17 scholarship program includes 50 scholarships of 15,000 euros each for first-year students at any Greek university and one Zacharias Piperidis scholarship of 20,000 euros for a freshman in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of any Greek technical university, in memory of the distinguished OTE Group...
