Romania avoided losing almost 750 million euros, thanks to a series of decisions taken by the Juncker Commission, through the retroactive approval of funds for a series of projects, the European Commissioner for Regional Policies, Corina Cretu, said in a meeting with the Minister of European Funds, Marius Nica.

The European Commission needs a guarantee of stability; therefore, it is important that Romania's Transportation Master Plan gets the support of all political forces and of the whole society, European Commissioner for Regional Policies Corina Cretu said on Wednesday in a press conference in Cluj-Napoca.

The European Commissioner for Regional Policies Corina Cretu highlighted the importance of using financial instruments in implementing regional development policy, in a meeting she had on Tuesday, in Brussels, with Romanian Minister of European Funds, Eugen Teodorovici, informs a release issued by the Commissioner's cabinet.

The natural gas imports from Russia will return to normal levels on Thursday, but we cannot know what will happen from Friday, Romanian Minister-delegate for Energy Razvan Nicolescu declared. "I do not rule out that this on-off cut game should continue," he added.
