Body of Missing French National Discovered near Asenovgrad

The dead body of a man was found this morning near Asenovgrad, police source confirmed to Nova TV.

A 63-year-old man came across the body this morning while walking in the area above the Asenovgrad district of Gorni Voden and immediately alerted 112.

Currently, an investigative group from the Regional Police Directorate - Asenovgrad has been sent to the scene.

A jump in the price of electricity by an average of 3.48% is proposed by the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation.

A Weak Earthquake Registered in Northern Macedonia

Its epicenter was near the border with Bulgaria, reported NOVA TV. 

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was registered at 4:51 pm on Monday on the territory of Northern Macedonia, near the border with Bulgaria.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 13 km northwest of Pehchevo and 107 km southwest of Sofia, at a depth of 10 km.

Sofia Municipality Starts an Inspection of Dangerous Buildings in the Center of Sofia

This happens after parts of the building in the city center fell on the sidewalk, reported NOVA TV. 

A piece of concrete from a private building fell on the sidewalk at the intersection of Graf Ignatiev St. and Shesti Septemvri St.

 There were no injuries or material damage.

A National Coordination Council for Measles Has Been Established

By April 22, 463 cases of measles have been reported to the Ministry of Health, reported NOVA TV. 

A National Coordination Council for Measles Control was established by order of the Minister of Health to assist in carrying out activities to reduce the spread of the disease.

It will also perform activities related to the analysis and control of the measures taken.

The cyber-attack was committed by another country, reported NOVA TV. 

A massive hacker attack has been committed against the major political parties in Australia. 

However, there is no evidence that hackers have intervened in the elections which are going to be held in a month. The attack was directed against parliamentary servers.

Plovdiv Rocked by Xmas Hog Roast Row

A plan to butcher two whole pigs and roast them in the centre of the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv as a Christmas celebration has been dropped after local protests.The hog roast was set to take place next to the Christmas tree by the city council building on Boxing Day, the bTV Novinite news site reports, cited by BBC.
