WSJ: International Investors in Bulgaria's KTB Demand Their Money Back
A group of international investors have filed a claim to recover some of the USD 172 M it says it is owed by Bulgaria's collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank, or KTB, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
Gunmaker Colt to file for bankruptcy protection: report
Storied American gunmaker Colt, which has roots stretching back centuries, plans to file for bankruptcy protection, The Wall Street Journal reported on June 14.
The company, which lost a large U.S. Army contract, is in need of the protection "amid business-execution issues and a heavy debt burden," the report said, citing unnamed people familiar with the plan.
Obama Urges Russia To Withdraw Troops From Ukraine Border
US President Barack Obama has urged Russia to "move back its troops" on Ukraine's border and lower tensions.
Russia is believed to have massed a force of several thousand troops close to Ukraine's eastern frontier. According to some estimates there are around 30 000 troops, while some US generals believe the number can be as high as 80 000.
