Putin 'Lives in His Own World,' Says US State Secretary
Russia's President Vladimir Putin "is creating his own reality, and his sort of world", the US State Secretary John Kerry said late on Monday.
His words, which he addressed in an interview for the Wall Street Journal, come in the midst of rhetoric reinforcement from both the West and Russia over the Ukrainian crisis.
S&P Cuts Russia's Rating to One Notch Above Junk
Standard and Poor's has cut Russia's credit rating from BBB to BBB-, lowering it for the first time in five years.
The agency has kept its negative outlook on the Russian economy, as the Wall Street Journal reported.
After the step by S&P, Russia's rating is now just a step above "speculative" or "non-investment" grade.
