BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he had had a sincere and difficult meeting with Germany's Western Balkans envoy Manuel Sarrazin, whom he told Serbia would oppose humiliations prepared for it in the Council of Europe (CoE) and the UN.

Ljubljana – President Borut Pahor and his Icelandic counterpart Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson called for a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis as they met in Ljubljana on Saturday. They highlighted Slovenia’s important role in the Western Balkans and reaffirmed the good relations between Slovenia and Iceland.

Ljubljana – An inter-parliamentary conference on the EU’s common foreign and security policy organised as part of the Slovenian EU presidency on Thursday heard calls for a united and active approach by the bloc to global challenges.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conveyed at today's meeting of the foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group and the Western Balkans, concern and outrage over the attack by Pristina police security forces and special units on the north of Kosovo.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic and International Finance Cooperation (IFC) Vice-President Georgina Baker on Tuesday signed an agreement on cooperation between the Serbian government and the IFC in supporting the implementation of a project aimed at improving the business environment in Serbia.

The EU will look at proposals for curbing "the increasingly aggressive efforts of foreign factors to spread disinformation, propaganda and disbelief in the EU."

This concerns especially Serbia and the Western Balkans, EU officials have confirmed for Beta, the agency has reported.

The internal problems of several EU member states are impeding progress on Serbia's accession to the European Union, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said Wednesday.

BELGRADE - As part of UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson's official visit to Serbia, the Ministry of Culture and the British Council have signed a two-year agreement on cooperation.
