Turkish group wants to perform Friday prayer in Armenia
A group of Turkish NGOs have applied to the Foreign Ministry asking permission to perform the Friday prayer at the Blue Mosque of Yerevan in the Armenian capital.
Turkish Embassy in Moscow targeted in gun attack
An attacker opened fire with a rifle on the Turkish Embassy in Moscow early Aug. 18, but no casualties were reported.
The man shot at the signboard on the embassy building after parking his car on the street in the morning hours.

Gasic attends final race of Tank Biathlon
BELGRADE - Serbia's Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic has attended the relay race of the Tank Biathlon near Moscow, the Defence Ministry said on Saturday.
He complimented the Serbian tank troops on the level of skill they had displayed and stated he was very happy they had won 4th place in the competition.
