Number of tourists in Novi Sad up by 26.2 %
BELGRADE - Novi Sad is still on the top of the list of Serbia's tourist destinations according to the number of overnight stays and domestic and foreign tourists, as the number of tourists from the beginning of 2014 to the end of February went up by 26.2 percent compared to the respective period in 2013, the Novi Sad Tourist Organization released in a statement on Tuesday.

Saric pleads not guilty
BELGRADE - The most wanted drug lord from the Balkans, Darko Saric, appeared for the first time before the Special Court in Belgrade on Monday and denied that he, together with members of his ring, organized the trafficking of a total of 5.7 tons of cocaine from Latin America to Western Europe.
Darko Saric was arrested in a joint police operation of Serbia and Montenegro on March 18.

Bulgaria ranks 46th in a report of property consultants CBRE on the top destinations for expanding global retail chains.
According to the survey, as cited by investor.bg, some 3% of the polled international retail chains expressed interest in expanding their business in Bulgaria.
Macao, India, Oman and Serbia have similar scores.
