Troicki reaches quarterfinals in Acapulco
ACAPULCO - Serbia's Viktor Troicki reached the quarterfinals of an ATP tournament in Acapulco by beating Columbia's Santiago Hiraldo 6-3 6-4 on Thursday.
His next opponent will be Kevin Anderson from South Africa, who beat Steve Johnson from the US 3-6 7-5 6-3.
The prize fund for the tournament is USD 1.4 million.

Serbia moves down one spot in latest FIFA world rankings
ZURICH - The Serbian men's national football team has moved down one spot in the latest FIFA world rankings and now takes the 39th position.
Serbia now has 713 points, which places it above Poland (709), Nigeria (664) and Sweden (654), and bellow Cape Verde (756), Island (743) and Scotland (748).
Djokovic through to Doha ATP quarterfinal with ease
DOHA - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Doha ATP quarterfinal as he defeated Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine in the second round match on Wednesday, 6-2, 6-1.
In the next round, Djokovic will cross rackets with Croatia's Ivo Karlovic who beat Georgia's Nikoloz Basilashvili, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.

BELGRADE - Students of the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, Helena Ivanov and Stefan Siridzanski have been named the world's third and fourth top speakers in the English as the second language category at the World Universities Debating Championship in Malaysia.
