A 20-year-old asulym seeker from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who was being treated in the intensive care unit of Lesvos hospital since New Year's Eve after an attack inside Moria camp, has died, state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported on Wednesday evening.

More than 2,700 people contracted Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2019, and more than 1,800 died. This is according to data from the World Health Organization, published in Geneva, TASS reported.

A record 45 million people are at risk of a food crisis over the next six months in southern Africa, the BTA warned today.
